Solution:

Set Input to “Quadrature Rate.”

Set Gate Time to .22 sec so that the dis

play

out to 1 sec, so that pulse

rates under 1 Hz are displayed as 0. Set

both DecPt1 and DecPt2 to 3 places. Under

Setup, select coordinates of 2 points scaling

method. Set both Hi In1 and Hi In2 to 1024.0

(pulses/sec) and both the desired Hi Rd1

d Hi Rd2 to 1.782 (feet/sec). Note: the

duplicate entries are required because the

quadrature meter subtracts counterclockwise

pulses from clockwise pulses.
